Shawn Wilson - Executive Vice President

Shawn Wilson has directed the development of several thousand units of multifamily housing in the last 16 years. He is an expert in the area of Affordable Housing Finance including Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bonds, CDBG, HOME, SHIP and other similar programs. Shawn has also handled due diligence, permitting, approvals, construction, property management, and compliance.

Shawn began his career in the early 1990's developing small affordable housing projects for neighborhood-based housing organizations in Pittsburgh and Miami Beach. In the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, the farmworker housing non-profit where he worked operated a tent city and feeding center for several hundred families. After stints with The Cornerstone Group, The Carlisle Group, and The Richman Group, he joined Stewart Marcus and Randy Rieger in 1999 to form Clinton Communities. Later, this company changed its name to Housing Trust Group. Shawn is passionate about Affordable Housing and believes in the mission. His formal education includes a Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University.
